With all the recent issues with Toyota's, i'm moving to a more reliable vehicle. A land rover...

:flipoff2:
If it works out, i'll post up what i get in a few weeks...

My guess is an 80, second guess is a 100. Am I close? :bounce:

1984 XR200r RFVC
4 stroke
4 valve
twin carb
Dual exhaust

I rebuilt the motor about 50 miles ago. (bored, timing chain, piston and rings)
Rear tire is about 5 years old.

Doesn't run because my neighbor pulled the spark plug wire out of the coil. Bought a used wireharnes with coil ready to go in. Carbs need to be cleaned as last time I rode it 6 months ago it was only running on one carb.

1st year of the swing arm. 1 of only two years Honda made this motor. Rare bike. Awesome thumper trail bike.

Selling it for $200.

Go to the DMV with an etching of the VIN and fill out a bunch of papers for a homebuilt vehicle title. Hope you get someone that know what they are doing. Pay all fees, get a tag. Buy this kit https://www.bajadesigns.com/NET/P-121301WT/Dual+Sport+Kit,+Ez+Mount+Kick+Enduro+Wt install and get DOT tires. Have it inspected by a trooper. All set.

Or just find a use Duo-Sport bike and be done with it. I saw a few nice ones lately fur under $2500.

Rick, I just sold the tires off the 80 (fj80) wheels, I'll let them go for cheap. They were on the 62 when I bought it.

Good luck with your pending graduation and marriage. I would advise you to buy a well maintined truck. There are way to many electronic items on a 100 to even consider a flooded one. Good luck with your search. You are in the right spot.

I have a buddy that has 2 german short hair pointers for sale... bro and sis they are 8 months old...

I'd be interested in the BFGs, please email me some pictures and when you are available.

I've got ONE (1) Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor All Terrain 285/70R17 with 700 miles on it. It was my spare tire that I won't be needing when I upsize to 315's. Great all terrain tire with exceptional wear longevity. I've got almost 57K on the 4 tires on the ground and will likely get another 5-8K out of them.
