As many of you know I bought a new to us 80 and will be picking it up the end of this month.
Wife's first question what are you selling?
So.. I wanted to get a feeler on my wifes 4runner and/or my 62.
Thinking $6500 for the 4runner and $4000 for my 62.
I really dont want to sell either truck, but I have to sell at least one in order to pay for the 80.
1997 4runner Sr5 4x4 loaded with every option except power seats. 173K miles
Interior is OK - Leather Driver seat is worn and a very small crack in the dash.
Exterior is in great shape TJM front bumper has saved us several times with deer.
- Owned it since 62K miles and 6 years. Gas records since then. Avg right under 20 mpg.
- 2 minor acidents both involving deer. (Hence the TJM now) Passenger front fender corner is a little dinged but hardly noticeable.
- Typical rock chips, etc for 10+ year olf vehicle
- 90 K mile sevice done at 105K miles.
- Basically stock except for some '07 4runner 6 spoke 17" rims. Factory 15" rims included.
- Best vehicle I have ever owned.
- Thinking $6500.
Not usually this dirty, but the only pic I have right now. (Has the '07 4runner rims on it now.)
1989 FJ62 around 190K miles - Thinking $4000.
- Owned 4 years and 10-15K miles
- 4" Alcan lift (2.5" front springs (+200lbs)and ext shackles and 4" rear springs(+400lbs))
- All greasable pins and shackles.

- Front and rear axles and diffs completely rebuilt at the same time as the gears. (All new bearings, gaskets, etc.)

- 33x12.5x15 BFG MT's on 15x8.5 alum rims with 3.25BS.
- Custom Flowmaster exhaust run btwn the frame rails.
- Interior in good shape, does have the drivers seat tear and a few little stains here and there, but a good detailing and it would be one of the better interiors I have seen.
- Infinity rear speakers and a nice clarion cassette player, factory speakers and HU included.
The BAD:
-The truck is originally from Minn. so it has rust. It hasnt grown much since I have owned it, and I have treated alot of it with some eastwood rust stop paint.
- Rockers need to be cut out and install sliders in place of them. (Done many times in the 60's section and I think the best bet and also give more ground clearance.)
- Rear 1/4 are rusty, but it does not go up the arch like some I have seen, it should be a realatively east reapair, if you plan on cutting the 1/4's some to make or install a rear bumper with 1/4 protection.
- Dent in Drivers front door (bumped into a tree in Cullowhee)
- Same tree cracked the mirror glass on drivers and passangers mirror fell off on same trip.
- Hood paint is a little faded.
EXTRAS INCLUDED for the right price :
3 rust free doors (complete with door panels, glass, etc.) - All but drivers front.
2 rust free fenders with a few very minor dings.
For a little more I will include a parts 60 or parts you may want off of it.
IPOR rear bumper, factory cruise, factory rims and worn 31 MT's, 2 - 33" BFG MT spares. the list goes on.
- Hood not shut in these pics.
Comments, suggestions, etc welcomed. Let me know if anyone is interested, hoping to have one of them at the SHAMOM. And will have better pics of the 4runner up soon.
