Nice! You'll have your hands full, but it's definitely not a hopeless endeavor! Looks like some rigged brakelights on the back, is that a piece of sheetmetal attached to hold them in place? Whatever works! Does it run and/or stop? What are your plans for it? If I were a betting man, I'd bet that you'll build something beautiful, like Steve, and then wheel it and fix as needed.
As of right now its a runs on Flintstone power...future plan is to restore to a green trail wheeler. Maybe some light blue trails

Is it any bigger than the envirocoolers? I bought two but neither work.

Neither do anything when I power them. I pulled the circuit board on one of them and found a blown fuse on the board. Trying to decide now what to do.
Anyone good at circuit board soldering? We are camping over labor day weekend and really need atleast 1 of these envirocoolers working.
I have a solder kit of you want to give it a try.
You can borrow mine if you need them. Just a note they do not like being powered backwards.
You are too kind. I would love take you up on borrowing 1 of them. Have you powered one backwards? I'm thinking I powered 1 of them backwards the first time. The other one I verified it was the right way. If it was powered backwards I'm sure it would blow that small 8 amp fuse. What else would it have damaged?
I miswired my Waeco once and it never worked right again. The only thing I didn't replace internally (trying to chase it down) was the main board on the compressor which is probably what ultimately fried.

They were all tested for operation before and when we picked them up.
These coolers came from the second round of pick ups. I wonder if they really were tested, the one I grabbed works but the inverter that was in it doesn't work.

They were all tested, they wouldn't let you have any that were in question. They used the same power Supply to test the units,dont know if they tested all the power supplies.
I got 3. 1 was for a friend of mine. His works, but is super loud. 1 of mine was hooked up on a 12v power supply and I could have wired it backwards. The other one was hooked up properly for sure but won't power up. I'm not upset about it, I just either want to fix them or get new ones.
What does one mean by wiring it backwards? I’m getting one of these soon and want to make sure I don’t have issues.
