1F engine decision, sell as a unit or part out

I have two 1F engines and I am going to keep the best of the two.

The one I think I'm going to let go is dated 12/67.
Here is what I know.

Main and rid bearings are STD, but the rods journals may need a good polish or go to 0.010"

Cam has 1 bad lobe

Head has no visual cracks or signs of head gasket issue

Was going to rebuild it, but my brother found me a 2F out of a 87 FJ60

I have a set of new ITM STD rod bearings to go with it.

Front mounts not included.

Dual runner Intake and exhaust manifold included. There is an old 6-1 header that can be included

Was thinking start at $250 obo.

Thanks
Ernie

May be interested in that header if you’d be willing to separate.

I'll go dig it out of the corner and take some pics.
I would probably say $50 for the header.

The copper color is from the spay on the original head gasket

Looks like it was chrome in its early life.
Tiny dent on the first exhaust pipe at the top and a section at the bottom.

I think k that was done for the Clutch slave cylinder on the driver's side in the late 60 to early 70s fj40s.

I'll take $40 for it based on the condition

Thanks
Ernie

The dual runner intake and exhaust.
I'll just keep the booster vacuum pipe and the side plug shown in second picture

I'll separate these two items from the engine for $60 for both

Would this block be compatible with a '73 F engine?

@TexFJ

Pistons changed to dome for 73

Crank is compatible, with only delta being the harmonic balancer, which was pressed on for 68 to maybe 69

Rod is compatible

Head looks to be the same. Early 67 were siamese design

Block seems to be compatible

Block same from 68 to end of 73.
So the answer to you orginal question, is yes except the domed versus flat piston

Did a little digging but not sure what to ask for the 80 seats. I’m guessing $300 for the escape gear covers. All in good shape. Located in Temple TX.
