'87 4-Runner Parts

Guys, I'm moving in a new direction with the 4-Runner this winter so I'm going to have some parts to get rid of. Here are some mud priced parts and the times they will be available.

This week I will have

- Hard top - $75
- Rear Tailgate (ugly but the rear window works great) - $50
- Front door glass - $15
- Front door wing windows - $15
- I have the whole doors if you want them but their pretty beat up (lots of dents) - $30 apiece

Available on or after Sat Oct 30th.

- Front windshield (bought it new 1 year ago) - $40
- Carpet (after-market kit 1 year old) - $50
- I'll have all the ducting under the dash available, blower, condenser, heater core, all the ducting - I have no idea, let me know what you want.
- Front axle and steering. I have a fully gusseted front axle with hydro assist, all-pro hy-steer, tapped IFS steering box with flat pitman arm, power steering pump bored out for hydro assist, 1.5" hydro assist ram, marlin crawler cro-molly birfields, big brakes. I will either sell it all or in chunks. Let me know if your interested in anything and I'll figure out a price.
- I also have a bunch of spares for the front axle. Stock birfields & inner axles, large pattern knuckles, and stock hubs.

I do come down to ABQ pretty often, so I would probably be able to deliver stuff.

I know of one in Denver.... I saw it yesterday, it's a 38mm case. On the Rising Sun forum you can find it in the for sale section. $150 is what he was asking IIRC, it's currently disassembled.

I could pick it up and bring it down to you someday or other.

I have a 3" Revtek lift that was on my FJC for 2 years. Bolts/studs will have to be purchased at Barnhill Bolts. I would like about $250 for it, but I will consider other offers.

Hey guys,
The gent who "bought" my trailer ended up using his deposit to buy one of our RTT's instead, so the trailer is still for sale.
Really good deal- paid $6k to have it built, selling for $3,500. Never used off-road, only one road trip to a trade show on the highway. Loads of space; lots of potential for upgrades with slides and leaf spring etc. Would love to get it out of the driveway as I now have 4 trailers!
Help me sell this one so it can be used as it should be

I might have posted this before, but my #1 son (lives in west Texas) is looking for a decent mini truck in the $4,000 or less price range, if anyone knows of one or sees one.

On a sad note, he just sold his (was mine) '91 FJ80; it was a great truck and still reliable at 250,000 miles. My first Cruiser and one of my favorite trucks ever.

I have an old man emu suspension system and want to sell , It is a 4+ setup it is all new in the box it has the caster correction
bushings , stabilizer, and tierod ends. I pd 1400 will sell for 800 cash .
It was purchased for a 91 fj80 will fit a few other years . May do some tradeing for hot rod parts , big and skinnys , 12 bolt posi ,
powerglide goodies, big block buick HEI ignition system etc..

Nice looking truck, but the color scheme is a little odd. Looks very strange without the white roof, and the front fenders a different color.

There were very few imported in 1982 and 1983 and only a handful in 1984. That is a rare FJ40 and looks to be mostly unmolested other than the paint scheme which is not stock with the black bezel, top, and fenders. I don't need it and can't buy it... but I want it anyway.

I am pretty sure I see a PS unit on the left front frame rail. I think many of the '82-84 trucks came with factory PS and A/C and that one seems to have the factory A/C too!

No aircon, would be underdash on the right side. I don't think you could see p/s on that rig in those pics, the box is nearly identical: mounted aft of the shock tower goes to a center arm in the front of the frame. I'd scour it for rust, those '79+ tubs rust in some difficult spots. An '81+ 2F with 3.73s would be a nice-driving 40.
