What rock did you crawl out from under Vince? ;p I was hoping you would let that thing sit quietly--I was going to offer your money back. I'm in the market for a vortec and 4l60e to mate to a split case for my troopy and I don't want to separate my h55f. If fj80404 doesn't buy it, let me know.

BTW, I hope you are doing well, haven't heard from you in ages.

I have a transfercase in Espanola if your interested. It is from an fj60 and still has the 4 speed attached.

Let me know if your interested.

Vince

It is the same story with me. I have been working 6 days a week for most of the summer. I am doing well, I am a little behind on cruiser stuff along with my yard. Hope you and your family are doing good. As for the split case when were you needing it by?

Vince

Vince, this is David, If you will still sell the T-case to me I want to give you my # so we can meet up.
@ fire station, 314-0140 monday. all other 270-1634 Thank you.

Yes, the old plumlee place.

Full-on wicked awesome grooviness. You won't believe what the current owners husband (Lopez), a custom homebuilder masquerading as a fireman, has done with the kitchen.

Don't show the :princess:, or you will soon be buying.

And the man-cave, er shop, is almost as big as my entire house, albeit in 2 stories.

Dan, do share more details on what you know about Plumlee: musta be one hell of a dude!

Nope, I was just hoping it would still be there when I needed it. It's all yours. BTW, do you know exactly what you need? AFAIK the 60 and 62 cases are a little different (maybe it's just the shifting?) and the 60 cases are slightly different pre/post 84 or 85. Vince's is from an '83 with about 125k on it.

Pyro-boy i do want the T-Case, but I understand if need to sell to a old friend.

Well im not sure now, im going to build the Jerry Nickols Doubler. He told me ( i think) that i could use any 60/62 t-case. But i will double check with him. I have aquired a np203 for the doubler. I want to make sure of the 60 case. Has anyone used this combo that you know of?

Pyro-boy, I checked with Jerry Nickols on the year of T-case and we are good to go.
I checked my finances and good there too. Im ready when you are. David

so I'm curious now what you are putting this in? an 80 with mog 404 axles? what tranny? what engine? that would be cool.

He was. Just before they moved and sold that place Dad visited a good bit (he had a PRISTINE power giant Power Wagon sitting there for years that Dad wanted to check out). When he moved out, the most interesting thing was that he literally never threw anything out. We're talking boxes of twine.... each piece of string from every feed sack he had ever bought. Pretty impressive his collection of "stuff."

I almost bought some metalworking stuff from him, but didn't. I wish I would have. The pan brake, shear, beverly shear and roller would be pretty handy right now....

Plumlee was there longer than I was, and I'm a native! Speaking of other old mountain stuff: the new Pete's is OK. I'll go again. But it's not the same. Pete used potatoes (it ticked our neighbor off, she thought it was "cheap filler") in most dishes (consequently, I greatly prefer my New Mexican food to have potatoes), and he was a wizard with the Sopapillas. And I was under the impression Potatoes ala Garcia would be on the menu, but they weren't. I'll still take it though, they had decent green, and the sopapillas were tasty.

Well, with regret, we need to sell the place. with the economy it is hard to be pumped about the prospect of getting someone in the old place. It now has acid-stained concrete floor throughout.
Coool place, feels comercial it is so solid. Looking into realtors now.

No I didn't. I bet I ate at Bella Vista maybe twice in my life. Even as a young tot I knew that was crappy food!
