I, on the other hand, was not so lucky. We were so poor that that was fine dining. I had good
memorys of the place.. From tramway and central all the way up to Cedar Crest for diner, now that
was special.

That's funny. When we wanted a special meal we generally went into town. ;) The grass is always greener, you know... Probably doesn't help that I'm allergic to seafood.

Bella Vista was a big night out for us when I was a kid too. If the grandparents came in...time to get excited, we going to the backside of the mountain for some fried fish and chicken!!

As a kid we each had our own plastic cup to drink out of at home, yep, we had 3 yellow Bella Vista cups that had our names written on them. Every night filled 3/4 of the way to the top with milk.

Good times...no...Great times!!

Apparently I really missed out. I never experienced the Bella Vista. Our big night out was going to Panchos, which seemed like 100 miles from the far South Valley all the way up to Wyoming and Central (original location). I could get all the tacos and taquitos I could eat. Just raise the little flag.

When someone elses flag went up i would wonder what they were getting.

FJ60 for Parts? Scrap?

I've got the remains of an '84 FJ60 I'd like to get out of the yard. The frame is rotten, so I wouldn't think of this thing as anything other than parts. I do have the title.

I used the engine in my other '84, but everything else is there. Kinda wanted to hang onto the tranny/xfer case, but if anyone needs it I'm willing to let go of it.

About the only piece of sheet metal that's any good is the hood! The rear spring perches are rusted totally out.

So I thought I'd let the list know about this thing before I haul it to the U-Pull.

Anyone want the whole thing? Anyone in need of something specific?

Drop me a private message if interested and we'll go from there.

Thanks,

Greg

PS - If you need anything for a 2F engine I have the core that came out of the other '84. The head needs work, but has no cracks and is useable. The block is useable too - needs cylinder boring and the bottom end gone through. Let me know if interested.

The tranny/xfer case from the FJ60 are spoken for - Thanks David.

Axles are still available. There's a new-ish radiator from Performance. Decent wheels and tires (31s).

Brown

Hi Jericho,

The interior is brown. Thanks for asking!

As of now the wheels, axles, steering box, vacuum booster, and drive shafts are spoken for - thanks David and George.

About the only things still available are some interior things, the new-ish radiator, and a core 2F that needs to be rebuilt. And the hood!

Thanks everyone for your interest and help getting this thing out of my yard!

Greg

Will need Dave's help to make it so if it does pan out...

what interior things?

I have parts to convert drum front axles to disks using FJ60 parts, 2 complete sets (enough to do 2 front axles).
Each set includes knuckles, spindles, brakes, lockouts, birfs, steering arms, etc. for $150/set.
I also have a set of new steering arms to fit the larger bolt pattern of the fj-60/minitruck knuckles (like those I'm selling) but the smaller rod ends of the fj-40 so you don't have to do any modifications to tie rod or drag link. $50
