Hello,
Are you positive that there is no rust at all? How is the roof? And how does the frame look? Do you know if the truck has been from AZ it's entire life? Do you have a clean title? Can the truck be driven short distances? Can you get a new key made?

Thanks,
Zack

that port is a 35 minute drive from me, you can bring troopies in from there?

uhhh, dude

you can bring troopys into any port, as long as they meet your :princess: import laws. 25 years, ya' poor bastids.

if you do a little research, you'll be shocked to find out how over priced getting an already landed truck really is :flipoff2:.

but, can you really put a price on someone elses time and effort, for $17500... i guess you can:rolleyes:

it's not rocket surgery:D

I found the key today and will try starting it on Monday. It has not been run in months. The roof is great, the frame is great and no rust except stuff the size of pencil eraser. I can send you any pictures that you want as I have them already on my computer. Let me know what you want to see.....As far as I know the truck has been in the southwest the whole time and yes it has a clean title.

From my research I think you can get a trip to AU, and pick up a couple troopies, ship them home in a container along with some other cool stuff, and still be way under $17,500. Unless the new FJ Cruiser causes a major spike in prices, there's going to be a few people experiencing major "buyers remorse" in the next couple years.

Thank You

Thanks Mike!!! Awsome Rig! I'm glad nobody snatched it up before i got the chance! :grinpimp:

Have fun with your new Cruiser Mark! :D And don't hesitate to call if you have any questions.

BJ75's can be imported now. But there isn't many available or at all in Japan. Only OZ market and few others. But by then the 15yr old ones are buckets of crapola.

Alot of underground mines have acid water coming down on them all the time. Acid generating rock is the source..... I am not a geo head.. but thats my story.

So some mine the trucks rot apart. When they come out of a mine thye could also be hazardous to your health depending on what they worked in.

The dust is pretty crazy what they operate in.

Lets see a GM work there, eh?

Good luck...I did take a quick look at the one in Delaware (early Novemberish ?) and it was fairly rust free. The brown one on Rt. 1, I saw at +/- 55 mph so I can't say anything other than it was there with a sign in it that said for sale. You may want to check with Wayne at UpnOver in Aston to see what he may know is out there.

Does he still have his 60? That was a tight truck. I totally forgot to call him. Anyway, I put a deposit on a rust free 62 on sat. I'm going to pick it up tonight. It was from TX all it's life. Rebuilt motor, 4" OME suspension and everything works. I got it for $3 grand. Am I allowed to post pics on here? If not, I'd be more than happy to send them to someone who could. I think I got a good deal.

Sorry guys, I just got in from Vegas today, I was out for the UFC fight. I will get some pics in the next day or so and email them out.

I believe he does still have it...at least the last time I was by his shop. You outta be able to post up a few pics...just make sure they are sized right. $3k sounds like a very good deal. Is this the one that was up off 611 in Doylestown ? When you get it and are in the area (I'm in Kennett, not too far from Townsend I think) stop on by.
