I'll vouch for Dave "Japan 4X4" he's a reputable dealer. I'm sure the Ultimate buyer is the guy he's buying it for. Dave's gotta get his cut for services rendered to his customers in Japan.

Looking for FJ60 diesel

I am looking for a 1984 and up FJ60 with diesel. Must be in great working condition and have little rust. Restored one would work. Will pick up. Know where I can find one? ThanX

I am really sorry but, I am not interested in any trade. I have lowered the price too. So if you are interested in buying please let me know. Thanks!

minor problem

it ended up being a loose air valve that needed retightening. One of the wasatch guys who had the same motor in one of his vehicles came over to help out. Probably still going to sell her though. Looking at asking around 7,000

1994 FZJ80 in Raleigh, NC MUST SELL!

1994 TOYOTA LANDCRUISER
4.5 liter inline-6 cylinder gas engine (rock solid, no mechanical problems)
4 speed overdrive automatic transmission (full-time all wheel drive)
Locking axles/center differential (in Low range)
Cloth seats – 3rd row folding seats - Sliding sunroof with integrated shade
Kenwood AM/FM/CD with door speakers and tweeters on A-pillars (crossovers hidden)
Wind deflectors on windows and sunroof, bug deflector on hood
~ 215,000 mostly highway miles

Honestly, there are a few minor problems:
- Front bumper chrome trim strip needs clips (I have the chrome, not the clips)
- One rear window switch is dead
- Driver’s door power lock mechanism stopped working, so that door has to be locked and unlocked manually
- Rear “Landcruiser” emblem is cracked
- 2 center caps are missing, so I pulled the other 2 off

I have to sell it soon – I’m a teacher who just started a new job, so no paycheck until the end of October. My savings account is nearly gone and bills will be due in about 2 weeks. I really don’t want to sell it, but given my financial situation, I have little choice!

Kelly Blue Book shows a Private Party Value of $6390 with up to $3000 for paint and body work, which is nowhere near what it would be if you chose to paint it. It’s got a few scratches, but it is 12 years old! Plus, I keep it touched-up so there is no rust.

NADA shows a low retail of $7675 and an average retail of $9325.

Although I’m getting desperate, I’m asking $5700, but I’m willing to talk about offers…

More pictures are available for those who wish to see!

Good luck with the sale. 3 things:

1. Post some pics of the truck - prolly help it sell. If you need help posting pics, let me know.

2. Link this thread on the NC / SC club boards.

3. Are the other 2 center caps still around / will you sell them?

Sorry for the delays, guys...

First off, I will try to attach a few pics with this post. Secondly, I have the remaining two center caps, as I realized what was happening - the little angels were only taking them off of the side I couldn't see! Whoever posted to help out my slow response time about the brakes was absolutely accurate: discs front and rear. I have a few maintenance records, but I honestly planned on keeping the beast forever so it wasn't a priority. Birfields were inspected by dealership mechanics at 150k and 200k; both times I was told that they were fine and not to bother rebilding. It has very cold AC - I just moved away from the beach and my AC was ALWAYS in working order!!

Also, I had someone who knows Landcruisers far better than I straighten me out - I do NOT have locking axles. Sorry if I led anyone astray, I was told when I first bought it that they were lockers. The guy today said no switches = no lockers. Sorry! I'll check my pm's and respond in the order received.
