what is your price range for a running vehicle already built? Your last explaination was as vague as your first post. Just curious. Tom

i'm a college kid looking for a project or driver/project. again, the cheaper the better -- as in, no $4000 dollar rigs. $1000, maybe, sure. $500? heck yes (even though not probable). even if its been sitting around for 10 years, as long as its not a complete rust bucket, it might work.
there was a guy in Scranton, PA, with one for sale..needed some tub work, but otherwise pretty straight, ran when parked, he wanted $500. i was ready to jump on that; fell through on my end.

selling;straight, 100k orig. miles, 99% rust free fj40, has original paint with only surface rust where paint was oxidized. This was the fj40 I was going to keep, I have had many cruisers and presently have 1990 fj62, that I love. Maybe a diesel some day. I bought this vehicle from a guy who bought for son but plans changed and he was moving. Vehicle, I was told used to be a school district vehicle in arid northern Ca. No Bonbo, diamond plate, rot or rust holes. Color is offwhite with grey interior. New: complete rebuild with everything from cooling sytem, exhaust, clutch assembly, hoses etc. 4" skyjacker, rebulit fornt axle including brakes and steering, 33x10.5 bfg's(5)less than 600miles on everything. All gauges work and read correctly, aux 22gal. tank, warn 8274. I can't believe I already have $10k into vehicle without paint. Engine $4,500/all. thought I would offer with orig paint not to hide. call Jeremy 808-781-8959 in WA. Can I get $10k?

I havne't seen that truck in almost a year. If I recall correctly, the guy worked/ran a restaurant up there somehwere. The pig had a bad looking v8 conversion but suppsedly ran well. But, it had dents or rust on every body panel including a huge dent in the roof. The god thing was that he was only asking like $1000 for it.

1991 FJ80 Needs Motor

He she is, my 1991 80. My wife killed it about 5 months ago. She was running down the interstate when appaerently the oil pump went out. She pulled over and it never ran again. Currently the motor is locked up. I tried with a 24" cressant and couldn't get it to move. This truck has been with me since I was 12my dad bought it used in 1992 with 8K on it. I have all the records from this time. I has a Toyota Factory paint job that is warrentied for life. Inside it shows it's years but it isn't bad for 15 years old. The truck has 206K on it and the trans back is in good condition. It was only offroaed twice in it's life and eat up the mud. If you are looking for something to rig up with a new motor then this is a good one for you. All I ask is that I get to ride when you are finnished.
