Flex lines at rear T

I had some new flex lines built last week, and I had to turn the T 90 degrees to get them to fit. Line going to caliper has to long of a fitting to come out side as in stock configuration.

A little hard to tell, but does anyone see any thing wrong with having the flex line running to the bracket on frame rail coming out the right side and turning 90 degree (rubs against spring perch).

Also, the flex line going to the caliper out front side of T, goes over axle and won't get snagged on anything like it would if it came out the back side of T. (tried that and if just droops down to far).

Anything under the truck is possibly going to get snagged by something while off road....or by road derbis while on road.





Are you going to run a hose across to the other side as well?

yes, I'll replace the hard line across the axle, and have another flex line for the other caliper. I can turn the t slightly and reduce the amount of bend by the spring perch.

Are you trying to avoid making steel brake lines?

Maybe I'm missing something here..I use hard line across the axle and and just a short piece of flex line with banjo fitting to to hard line. Will that make the brake line spongy?

I was not planning on running flex line all the way across the rear axle.

Jerry, a little late now (I know you were trying to get a hold of me, I hope it wasnt about this) but Clark JR. at Oak-Hill VW on Pine Tree Rd. can make you ANY steel braided brake line you want and If you tell him I sent you, you should get everything at cost. Hes made me goofy metric PS lines as well as brake line extensions when I went SOA. Call me on SUN afternoon, I should be free

Why is it that you made the flex line to rear passenger brake so long?
You could have that line cut shorter to let the Tee have the factory orientation. The more flex line used the softer the brake peddle can become. This what I did as an example. The Tee in the picture is an aftermarket that had the same mounting hole.
