I bought my first Land Cruiser a few weeks back. After owning it for a couple weeks I recently (lol) noticed I have 3x 15in wheels, which I understand are factory, and one 16in wheel. I’d like to have all 16s because I just bought a set of BF Goodrich AT KO2s in 265/75r16 for one of my Other 4x4d and then the trans died. So I want to use these tires and am looking for recommendations on what wheels will work with that tire size

The 2 wheels in your pic look like 16’s. What do your other ones look like?

the drivers side rear is the only one that has a 16inch tires on it. They’re the same exact style of wheel which is what threw me off!

Those look like Tacoma/4Runner stock wheels. Which look great in my opinion. And they may be easier to find that stock LC wheels (which should be 16s). Maybe you can find 3 more 16inch Tacoma/4Runner rims.

That’s what I wanted to hear, found a set of 4Runner wheels but I read some posts here of some issues with the backspacing, wanted to see if anyone has run into fitment issues running newer 4Runner wheels with the 3 split spoke design

I can't help you with backspacing issues. I'm sure there are others who have Tacoma/4Runner wheels on their LC who can help. Congrats on your first LC.

I would pull the wheels they should be marked with what size they are on the in side. you can also use some sort of a straight edge to go form one side of the rim to the other then measure down to the mounting surface. stock Land Cruiser wheels are 4.5"
I usually cut a straight piece of wood if tire are mounted as you don't want it to ride up on the tire. WELCOME TO MUD ,now get your wallet ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty much any 16” 6 lug alloy Toyota wheel, on early Tundra, Tacoma 4Runner, fj cruiser, and cruiser lx450, GX470, gx460, sequoia. Some of the steel tundra wheels and Tacoma spares have an offset that could require a small spacer. Used Tacoma wheels are some of the most common because they are the most frequently upgraded wheels on stock trucks.

Looks like lots of options in your area.

Just picked up a set pretty cheap, having me mounted as we speak.

Aren't all those other Toyota 16" wheels only 7" wide, and our Cruiser rims are 8" wide?

I have no clue about the wheel widths or other specs. They look pretty good to me. Pavement posted up in a compact spot at the Trader Joe’s.

Were a need to know group here, your new wheels look just like your old wheels. where some of your old wheels 15" wheels ? There marked as to what size they are on the inside of the wheels.

They are the same wheel style. New set are all matching 16s from a 2000 4Runner. The one 16 I had mismatched with the 15s is continuing life as a spare. Here’s a photo of the stamping on the 15s, it’s the same on all 3 I have.

The 15” wheels came on 2wd 4runners, they look identical to the 16” that came on most 4wd and I think 2wd limited 4runners.
op, assume you have a 1991-1992 80 series?

You can read the wheel diameter from the sidewalls of the tires, also. Dont have to pull the wheels.

Thanks for bring that to my Attention. That assumes the proper size tire was mounted. ;)

I am sure I must be missing something, how can the tire sidewall tell you the wheel width? Possibly you mean the tire will tell you the minimum and or maximum desired wheel width?
