FJ73 Wiper Motor Bushing - Need installation advice.

Here is a picture of what I did. I removed the linkage, removed the arm from the wiper motor, installed the bushing between the linkage and the wiper motor arm. Some of you are probably laughing at me saying I did this the hard way. I tried and tried to install that damn bushing without removing the wiper linkage but it would just not snap in place. Either way, it is fixed now. :)

I am dealing with the same problem . But haven't been able to find plastic bushings . Can I ask where you found yours .
Thanks
If you take that whole wiper arm out then I believe that same bushing connects the 2 arm sections in the middle .

I believe the bushings that connect the 2 arm sections in the middle of the linkage is not the same type. The new bushing I used as shown in this thread to connect the linkage to the motor came from cruiserparts. I don't know the part number.

I have two extra bushings left over as I had three originally (in case I broke one installing it) and they are not cheap from cruiserparts at $25 each. If you want one instead of buying from cruiserparts I can send it to you. Only have to pay shipping.

Sent you an email.

If anyone has a good link or source for the 70 series plastic bushing that retains the ball stud to the wiper linkage let me know. Can't find any up to date info

That bushing, at least not as a stand alone OEM Toyota part is available.

You will have to just cough up the money to get the linkage since the bushing is included with that. Might as well while you are in there.

Not sure how cruiserparts was selling them alone back when I got a few but you could try them again.

Could be another 3d printer project for the tech-gifted.

Maybe. It is possible to buy the raw filament with carbon fiber and other strange additives.
Nylon might be the way to go for this.
Someone who prints all day, every day would know more than me.

Ok well in any case, that bushing is a major pain to install by itself, especially if you have sausage fingers.

I don't think it was ever intended to be installed as a replacement part itself if that makes any sense. In other words, it probably belongs inside the rubber boot of the linkage at all times.

As mentioned above, try cruiserparts.net
