I talked to your dad about mine. I will be honest the 4 speed conversion is stupid simple and easy. Even the bolt holes for the most part are there including the cross member holes for the new tranny. Think about it..and it will give you more power and save you a little fuel economy. you should be able to do this for like 500 bucks. If you need any assistance on the subject drop me a pm.
