FJ62 tires.

Hi everyone,

I need some feedback on tires. I am looking at the Mickey Thompson 33x12.50R15 Tire, Baja MTZ P3 . I like the look and read these are fairly quiet. I live in LA. The truck has some good year wranglers and they feel like they are not road tires. I feel the thread as I am coming to a stop. Very rough ride. I read these are for snow and mud. I bought the car from Virginia, rebuilt the engine and these tires were on them. I have KO2 on another LC and I am bored of the look. Let me know if anyone has these Mickey's on their truck. Post some pictures to check out the look and stand of your truck. Thank you!

Good for driving on beaches but that's about it. Too wide in my opinion

Do you still have the factory wheels? If so, get some 33*10.5 tires. There are a few brands out there. Lighter, easier to steer and get going, and don't stick out past the fender.

I did it. The tires are wide and huge but the truck looks amazing. A perfect fit. I don't mind the weight. I use the truck to cruise around town once in a while.

i have them on my 40. they are a nice tire but definitely NOT for snow. maybe in light fluffy powdery snow but they absolutely suck on ice and hard pack wet snow. good thing you don’t get much of that where you are!! just for others that may read this thread. i’d still buy them again. i just have winter tires for all my vehicles
