I'm rebuilding my 1989 steering box (BJ60 but basically a RHD version of the FJ62 box). I have all the seals/O rings/teflon rings etc except the pressure port seats.

Looking globally, (things might be different in the US), three different parts were used for the seats:

Early 60 Series (80-83) - 90410-06030 which Toyota have kindly discontinued
Mid years (84-87) - 90410-06006 which appear still to be available
Late 60 Series (87-89) - Toyota for some reason decided not to list these as separate parts, even though they are included in the rebuild kit.

70 and 80 Series crusiers from 1990 onwards got another seat, 90410-06005 which is still available.

So, does anyone know which seat fits the 60 steering box? I have a suspicion they are all the same outer diameter, perhaps the width/length of the piece which is inserted into the bore of the valve body is different.

Currently plannign to just order 2x -06005 and 2x 06006 but would be good to hear from someone who knows.

Thanks

EO

For reference, from left to right: 90410-06005, the old 1989 seat, and 90410-06006.
