post some updated pics brett! it looked awesome at rubithon.

Ok...it's been a few months and I havent posted on MUD for a while, but I thought I'd resurect this thread with a couple of pics after the SOA was complete. It's back up at Lukes over X-mas getting the front stinger bumper / winch mount done. Once I get her home she'll be getting rear cabinets and the interior completed over the winter. I'll post more updates as I get em. This has turned out to be my favorite hard-core rig out of all the trucks I've had over the years by far. It's big, heavy, long and takes lots of smack's on the rear 1/4's on tight trails cuz of the length...but it hauls a ton-o-gear & it works bitchin:hillbilly:

i saw the rig at luke's shop last week. i'm soooo stoked that it's everything you wanted it to be!

Another quick update...first shots of the start of the front stinger / winch mount. Luke's adding a couple of mounting points for two 9" lights in addition to the stinger bar. Will post more pics of the final product.

yup, luke at 4x4labs. his shop is only a couple of hours from me. i'll let brett answer the bumper and "quater chop" questions. not sure exactly what you're talking about with the "quater chop"?! i assume you're talking about trimming the bottom of the rear rockers.

Luke of 4x4labs? Is that a 4x4labs rear bumper? Details of the quarter chop, please?

Actually we never choped the rear 1/4's at all...Luke just made a simple tube bumper for it with a 2" rec'vr and 2 HD tow points. Here is a shot that shows a little more of the bumper, but it's still not great. Once I get the truck back in week or so I can take some more detailed shots and post em up

Yep...my favorite trail by far....nice and long, good sections of tough terrain, remote, scenic... and you're completely fawked if you have a bad breakdown up there...what more can a guy ask for?:)

TTT

Pics of bumpers yet??

how about some updated pics and a trail report from this years' duzy trip?! LOL

The truck continued to do well, but the bead lock wheels totally sucked and caused some major issues. Then, we discovered a powdered knuckle bearing on the way home that required a 2 hour fix in a chevron parking lot. It could have gotten very ugly, but it didn't and we had the usual incredible trip on the Dusy.
