FJ62 Harness + Halogen Upgrade - 2024 option?

Hello,
I have been reading for 4+ hours on the different lighting upgrade options. Based on the heat from the Halogen bulbs and the cost, I would like to go with an upgraded harness and H4 bulbs. Any current recommendations?

For the harness, I see two options:
-wire with relays: SMS upgrade SMS link
-wire without relays (I think): IPF wiring IPF Link

For the housing, Hella seems the choice. Where is the best place to purchase? Here is what I found so far: classic garage link. I’m assuming these allow for only bulb replacement, and its not a sealed housing?

Any recommendations on bulbs?

FYI, I would like to make it so all 4 are on with low beam and high beam, advice recommended!

Holley Retrobrights seem like the nice option, with JW Speaker being the extreme.

I got my Cibie and Kioto housings and associated relays etc from Daniel Stern Lighting. Had to wire it myself but was fun and the lights are perfect and period correct.

Roger. I think the Koito upgrade is a good option

Is there a koito/OEM upgrade for the 62 (4 rectangle lights)? I've only seen the 7" round kit.

Even stikl, to have all four be on/off you would need to get four h4 rectangle housings. Stock the inner pair are h1 and have high beam only.

I don't think you'll find a wiring harness that gives you control over 4 h4 bulbs so I would expect to build or modify one. I plan to do something similar for a friend's 62 using a modified version of slcfj62's "ultimate harness" design.
