I have a new one for everyone........I recently got another FJ62 and noticed brake lights not working.
I replaced brake light switch with new Toyota OEM as I noticed the switch was missing.
Plugged right in to original harness with connector and green wires, etc.
Now the brake lights are ON unless I push the pedal in and then they are OFF. Its like an 'opposite' switch.......WTF.
It is not the small rubber plunger that people have had issues with in which the brake lights are 'always on'.
How and why does this happen and how do I fix?????
