So I haven’t posted on here in a while.
I finished the 2f swap and daily drove my cruiser before I went on deployment and it forced me to make it reliable. However, I did find some other issues.
-The biggest being the fact that the PO did a halfass job converting it to SOA and SOA just sucks in general. The shock mounts are too short to mount a stock shock and the lift and tires are too big.
-I also needed to rebuild the rear brakes and add a proportioning valve and new brake booster.
-also the way the trans was mounted was absolute trash luckily I have a short H42 and 1983 crossmember but no shift linkage for it.
While I was on deployment I saved up a bunch of money. I bought a ton of parts and I have a huge garage so I splurged on a ton of parts
-MAF 38 gal tank
-AA twin stick and t case reseal
-OME heavy plus lift kit from Kurt at cruiser outfitters
-Gobi stealth rack
-Pro comp 17x9 wheels+BFG AT Ko2s 275/70r17
-Warn VR1200 winch
-addicted Offroad tube bumper
-hitch mounted motorcycle carrier
Also lots of little parts
-didn’t have sway bars before so I added a front sway bar with oem Toyota bushings and brackets.
-4 runner brake booster
-new asin clutch master and slave cylinders
-MAF stainless brake lines
-willwood proportioning valve
-rebuilt rear Driveshaft+ rebuilt double Cardon front Driveshaft.
-refurbished hitch receiver
-new rear drums, brake cylinders and pads
-revised side exit exhaust
Oh, and that henna red 1984 E30 318i is my new daily.
My FJ60, e30 and my motorcycle have a nice garage they stay in.
