I am in the Chicago area.
I have looked at 2 locally and last weekend flew to North Carolina to look at one. Unfortunately, none of them were good.
I may take you up on the offer, but I still would like to see it in person.

Was thumbing through the ads and came up on it. And remembered I saw your want ad.
Most west coast trucks are in good shape. This guy seemed to care for it well. Kept up on maintenance.

Thank you, but no.
Specifically looking for a tan or red exterior (but will consider other color) and tan interior is important.
A solid frame is a must.
A well maintained original or one that has been properly upgraded is fine.
Needs to be a good driver.
I will fly out to inspect.

I drove this truck. The tailgate and wheel wells are pretty rusty but it’s in overall good clean condition. Drives nicely and the owner is a great guy. He said it was owned by a gunsmith previously who was very meticulous. I haven’t seen another 60 with those stripes on it!

FYI the roof on this truck has some pretty bad rust on it in spots (the shop it’s at sent me photos). Still, 4K miles on the rebuilt 3FE is very appealing.

I am the new owner of a beautiful FJ60! That was fast! Amazingly, only 30 miles from my house. Here it is. A Georgia truck. 157K miles.
