So the fenders are from an 80 with some custom work above the wheel opening?

problems solved daily...
No -- looks like 60 front fenders. The front corners look like they were modified to accept the front turn signals. Not sure what would've been done to keep the grill & headlamps in place.
Looks like the hood is from an 80, too.

Its the curve on the top of the fenders that made me think they're 80 fenders. The mirrors are pretty cool too. They look like they swing out for trailering.
i think it looks good. wish toyota sold em like that today.
of course i wish they sold any land cruiser like they made them back in the day...

Did the 80's come with four head lights??

not sure if i like it...i don't dislike it though.
80's came with four right in the beginning. I bet that cruiser got in an accident and they had a donor truck there. so a skilled body man made it happen.
