ok so i know some discussion has been ensued as to what will and wont fit our trucks and also where to get blades for our trucks.
I have had the same blades on my truck for a little over a year and a half now and still have my factory arms with the cool little TEQ emblem on em. well today i went for rear brake shoes at the local autozone (only ones who supposedly had em, they didnt.) and decided that since it has been raining all day and since spring will coming shortly that i could go ahead and get me some new blades. they look em up pull em and its the full arm and i show them why they wont work (doesnt have adapter for the screws like we have) so i ask for refils they go and pull em. they are supposedly a 17" blade and there are wide and skinny types. well the 17's were to short so we go back in and pull some 18's which were bigger than what was currently on the truck (guess i had 17.25's if there is even such a thing.
) any way turns out the wide 18's fit grear and gave me a little more clean area on my windsheild without hitting the sides top or bottom. COOL! more visual is always a plus.
so here are the part number for the blades. and they do work great by the way. and were only $4.99 for both $5.40 after Texas state taxes (package has 2 in it)
they are ANCO blades (come in a yellow package with "ANCO" written in blue) part number U-18R (written at top of package)
and directly below the part number it says 457 mm.
below is a image of the package.
hope this helps someone later down the road if not well I tried. and this is maybe a 1/4
job at best so anyone can do it.
