I was talking with another member recently and think I may have to do this....
Are many people looking for just the face plates?
I have the ability to digitize my existing OEM face plate and 3D print new ones. Not quite sure yet what material and machine time will cost.

I need a faceplate for a 1980 fj40. Been looking forever and it's been a dead end...

From a 40 Series? As in @Lance 80 FJ 's photo? That would be awesome! Let's see how the 60-Series one turns out. The 40-Series one looks to be pretty simple!
Just texting with my buddy to see what his schedule is like this week. I will drop off the 60-Series faceplate (hopefully) this week.
Small update.
The faceplate is finally with my 3D printshop buddy to be digitized. I also we ahead and sent the radio knobs and Inclometer knobs!

I'm going to keep replying here until I have a workable product that I can say without a doubt works in a 60 with stock radio.
The first batch of face plates warped but the radio knobs look great as well as the inclometer knobs.

I’m giving up on the hopes of a complete OEM FJ60 stereo. I have a faceplate in really good condition, no cracks, that I would sell for $75 shipped (to lower 48). If interested PM me and I can send pics.
