Hey there!
First poster over here. I am looking for some guidance on a full parking brake build. I recently bought my second FJ and the previous owner removed the entire parking brake (cable + handle assembly etc..) I am trying to stay as original with the project as I can, have found cables available and some handles but so far have come up empty-handed when looking for a full buildout. Does anyone have some advice or suggestions for how to source these parts?

Are you just missing the lever? Or cable? Here is the parts diagram of all the parts.

The cruiser cult has levers / boots for inside the cab.

Outside parts are all via Toyota or your friendly neighborhood Landcruiser Shop. (Cruiser Outfitters and CruiserMatt’s Off Road ship parts daily)

Benefit to a LC shop is that they probably know what you are working on personally and will offer a level on support other than “it says it fits”.

Cable is: 46410-60101

Hope that helps.

We have the cables in stock, there are two versions, depending on if your truck is pre or post ‘85 (46410-60100 or 46410-60101)
The mounting tab on the axle housing is the difference.

Welcome.
