FJ60 on 80's series Frame build (2 Viewers)

First time on a build like this. Mid swap decided to go with the 80's series chassis for better suspension. Lots of parts that need replacing so we are basically doing a ground up rebuild on this car with lots of custom components. Running into A/C issues and parts I can't find and wondering if Vintage Air is the way to go, etc. Any advice or things to avoid would be greatly appreciated. Will continue to post some pics along the way. Here is the starter 1985 bone stock fj60

Engine gone. Tear down has begun

Engine mounted. Exhaust installed along with the new Long range gas tank mounted.

Body back on in order to design/build the bumpers before we tear it all down and get the chassis in for powder coat. Rework on exhaust is a much better look. Also some pics on the new custom front bumper

Had to cut close to 5" out of the frame to fit on the 60 body. All new body mounts too.

This is over about 6 months timeframe - just getting time to start posting on the build. I'm just learning as I go - the guy helping me can build pretty much anything so i'm absorbing what I can right now. Fun stuff for sure.
