You are right on the one I kept. :D

No takers here yet huh?

The install was fine. I have to switch the top mounting plates because I run my spare on the other side. No biggie.

Is it beefy enough for you?
Does it flex or anything when you step on it, even with a load?

Better be hittin' the sack 'cuz I'm climbing Mt. Fuji tomorrow (and Sat.).

Thanks for putting it up for sale for me, Butch!

Mot :)

Thought this might get moved. :D

I let Butch take two different types of ladders and IF I guess it right, these are pretty close to the pics of the one that he did not take (different angles to show mounting points: no drilling necessary):

Not sure about the diameter of it, but IIRC, not too beefy (may or may not be an issue).

Mot, in one pic you show the rear hitch. Anyone know where I can get one of those style pintle hitches?

have you had any problem with the slip yokes not being long enough with the fj60 driveshafts?
No but I had tho have both lengths changes at a local dshaft shop. Was around $160 IIRC. I have a V8, SR and 4" SUA lift so your setup may require different lengths. Sorry, I do not remember if they were lenghten or shortened. The imprtant thing is to measure correctly and give that info to the people modifying them. They will put the slip joint in the center of its stroke if they do it right.

passenger rear 1/4 panel needed...

i crushed mine in at Spring Creek, CO few months ago.

i need to brush up on my sheet metal welding, or i'd offer to do it.

No flex. It feels great, but, my bumper is so tucked into the body that I think I need to put as step on it.

Hard doors to make half doors

Like the title says, FJ-40, old style or new I’m not too picky, let me know what you folks have. Nothing too spendy, Thinking around $100-150  I shipping may be a PITA.

If you have some in good shape maybe I could use them as full doors and cut up the ones I have.

Thax :grinpimp:

yeah, no doubt i'm going to have the lengths modified, i was just wondering if will need to get a long travel slip yoke welded in while i'm at it or not, probably just going to go with it and see how it does, it's not like i have a radical suspension or anything- just a soa and stock springs

if that falls thru I got a few, same deal

I've got a front passengers seat.
Seat is from a 1992 FJ80. Color is gray.
I very good condition.
Seat will include rails.
Asking $50 plus shipping.
