Need choke and throttle setup F engine, Aircleaner setup Aisin carb with mini PS

I see what you're missing, but I don't have an extra...sorry.
What is missing is a plate that attaches to the outboard two studs on the carb, kind of a right angle bracket that has a pivot point for that "dangling" rod. Then you need a fairly common linkage piece that has a ball clip on each end. Your best bet is to contact viccin@centurytel.net Talk to Vic or Cindy and they have what you need. I recommend them simply because I've bought a lot from them and they ALWAYS have what I need. Any other yard will have it, too. Probably simpler than trying to fab or scrounge it yourself. :)

wanted fj40

well, it is with considerable joy that i get to post this. i have fallen into a sum of money and am looking for an excellent fj40. i do not need over the top, but i know what is reasonable. i currently have a 76 fj40, and instead of restoration i'm just going to sell it and get another one.

what i want----
1) it must be olive green. nothing else consitered.
2) must be 76,78,or 80. no odd years, and yes i know all the differences in models.
3) V8, or an improved(modified) 2f
4) rattle free
5) virtualy rust free. and good paint
6)p/s
7) many other things i want to list, but anyone who is selling a cruiser at this price ahas probably got what i am looking for.

i am in no hurry. i live in texas and will pick it up from most any state. please if you know friends of friends or seen one in a lot let me know.

email-johnnymcelmurry@hotmail.com

please let me know, but i am also in the market for a duccatti and may go with speed. i don't know. i'll wait around and see what comes up.

thanks in advance

Ed-

Thanks a ton. I found the plate now. ("What is missing is a plate that attaches to the outboard two studs on the carb, kind of a right angle bracket that has a pivot point for that "dangling" rod.)"

I still need this "Then you need a fairly common linkage piece that has a ball clip on each end. I need the one that connects to the carb throttle with the pivot piece.

and I also need a complete original choke cable for a 1974 landcruiser FJ40.

Again thanks

Hell, if you're working against a deadline, go get a generic at any autoparts store then look for a cherry one later. You'll only have about $5-6 in it. The one that's on there will probably work if you take it out, un-kink it , gease it and re- install. Those ball-clip rods are not cruiser specific, check your local boneyard or NAPA.
GL with the deadline!

Wanted fj60/62 speedo/odometer

So it looks like a fj60/2 odo is the same as a late model fj40. So I am looking for a working speedo/odometer with around 130,000 on it.

I managed to bugger up my fj62(off the sorta parts rig) speedo trying to run the miles back from 340k to 130k(what the 40 has on it) So I aint messing with that again I just want to pop the odo out and pop the new one in the 40

if you got something let me know at

Looking for used springs because my garage is a tight fit and would prefer springs that have settled already. Hopefully someone is upgrading their and have some old one laying around ::) Thanks all

Hello All

This is actually my first post on this board, but I am sure it wont be my last. I am looking for an owners manual or 2F or what would be great would be a shop repair manual for my Cruiser. Please if you have one for sale post or email me.

Thanks

Manuals

Owners manuals can be had from Toyota for $10, they are reprints.

Also check Ebay for the service manauls, you will need 3 of them, the 2F motor manaul, the body and chasis and the emission manual.

Wanted: Wire mesh Headlight covers....and other stuff :)

Don, I was just looking thru Specter's Catalog and you can buy the Chrome ones NEW for like $11. Sounds like a better deal to me, but then you might want to add some things to your order due to the minimum shipping and "handling"

Manuals

Thanks for the reply. Does anyone out their have any of these manuals.

Re:terrain tamer suspensions

there seems to be a lot of it around atm, and i think i saw they used koyo bearings. Sunshine state 4x4 down the road sells it but i havn't had a look yet. You might just have to ask around the 4x4 shops, but i cant see it being any better or worse than half the other aftermarket automotive stuff out there
