Wanted FJ60 in Southeast

Long time listener, first time caller.

I've always loved land cruisers, and am finally in a position to pursue the dream of having my own. I've been actively looking for a little while now, and am preferring a 60. I've looked at a couple 62's here in my area and I like them, but would strongly prefer a manual transmission.

I'm looking for a daily driver, little to no rust, in the $7,000-$10,000 range. I'm not picky as far as color, mods, etc., as long as it runs and drives well.

I live in Nashville, TN and am hoping I can find something in the state of Tennessee, if not elsewhere in the Southeast.

Thanks for any and all help. Very excited at the prospect of owning my first cruiser!

I have a 1989 FJ60 no rust inside is mint $9k no issues, paint is faded but that's how I like them, not a perfect show paint. Cold a/c, new battery, great daily driver. If interested I will send pics.

Thanks for the videos - Central FL might be a little far for me, but I'll have to ponder since it's in fantastic shape.

Speaking of FJ62's, anybody have an opinion on this one?

1988 Toyota Landcruiser FJ62

It has some rust underneath since it spent a lot of its life in PA. He also told me that the 4wd vacuum lines will need to be replaced and the a/c needs a recharge. Can anybody tell me how expensive/how much effort that would be? Is it worth it for the price?

Again, not my personal preference since I'm really looking for a 60, but it's not too far away and it's within my budget.

View attachment 1172335 View attachment 1172334 I have a 1985 fj60 with 138,000 original miles. I have not actively put it for sale as I have been in a struggle with myself to either sell this 85 or my 88 fj62. I have decided to keep the 62 because it a is automatic and my wife can drive it.:)
The 85 is in really nice shape. If you are interested please send me your info in my inbox. Located in Marietta Ga.
