@Red Rattler I'm not entire sure about this option, do you have anyone that can cut it for you using CNC or laser? I know it doesn't look like much work but it took me a few days to get everything precise, for example, look at the close up picture of the lid closed, it's only about 1/32" from the frame.

I have a cnc machine in my garage just trying to get it to work. However the engineer next to work also has one. I know a hand full of people who would be interested in these here. As no-one here does them.

a thought just occurred to me. this is aluminum on steel. is a powder coating enough to prevent galvanic corrosion. I know it shouldn't often be wet but in humid climates will two touching dissimilar metals cause problems? I would think a good coating should be enough but thought I'd ask the experts

oh and price?..... I'm so close to committing!

Hmm I'm in California so I haven't experienced that kind of reaction. The tailgate is painted so I don't know about all that happening. I will leave it to the experts to shine the light on that subject.

I'm offering in introductory price $430 + shipping on the first batch of 7.
PM me to reserve your spot, looks like 3 are taken up, so 4 left.

I finished cutting 7 FJ60 lids today and finished assembling 11 FJ80 units earlier.
Tomorrow will be packing the FJ80 for shipping then get to work on the FJ60.
