fj45 short bed

question for any body that knows any thing about fj45. is the frame of a short bed hard top truck the same as is the one for the short bed convertible top???. see I like to take the hard top cab and replace it with a convertible cab. are the mounting brackets on the exact place in the frame???

Wait until Whitey chimes in, but I am pretty sure the rear cab mounts are different.

Cristian, The frames are the same wheelbase but the cab and bed mounts are different.You will have to fab some new mounts,or move the original ones. My buddy did this a couple of years ago and it was a lot harder than he first thought, but it can and has been done.YT
