Well finally, they are done!

Available are 12 pairs (Right & Left) FJ45 LV Rear Seat Brackets. It took a while, but I think the result turned out well. I have to thank my son Sawyer (@ST60) for taking the time to measure and successfully draw these out on SolidWorks. 3D printing proto types until he was satisfied. Also, a big shout out to Nathan (@scoobiedubes) for lending me a set of these brackets off his LV. And of course, Pete (@xtremeVA) for coaching me along this little endeavor. These brackets are quite complex. Originals were cast and then machined. They have been machined from 1018 steel(which is much stronger than original), tumbled for the pre-finish and then clear zinc plated. They are not exact replicas but they look pretty close. I only have 12 pairs and once they are gone, they are gone. I will take orders in the order they come in. Once payment is received, I will ship them out to you.

The price is $650.00 for a pair shipped in the CONUS.

Thanks for being patient on these.

This is the original thread @scoobiedubes started....

These are beautiful, turned out great. Nicely done!! I’m sure they won’t last long. These LV parts are impossible to find sometimes and finding shops to make small batches is expensive and time consuming. Kudos for continuing the project. I didn’t get the files for them when I had them made (shop went out of biz before I thought to ask for them, d’oh!) so hopefully you’ve got yours still if someone down the road wants to make more.

@KT40 and @sd60 - Thanks for all the effort on these complex parts...the results are amazing! Wow. 👍
These parts are unique only to the LV and are impossible to find. Price is reasonable based what I have seen for other unique Cruiser parts offered by various vendors. I just hope you vendor is willing to make some additional sets....Shapeways went out of business and it's getting difficult to find anyone to agree to take on small production runs of parts.

Nicely done. Wow. I knew they were in the works but the finished product is amazing. Thanks to Ken and all involved to see this unicorn part re-pop through. And of course I would like a set. Thanks again.

Nice Job Ken. There are going to be some happy LV owners out there…

Thanks Nathan. I don’t have a FB account so maybe someone on here could reach out for me?
