I also started collecting old Nash door handles and window cranks when they popped up on eBay since they look very similar and fit on the door mechanisms. Always good to have a plan B!

I've had these Wiper Motor Terminal Covers accurately reproduced from EPDM Rubber. These are made using a Mold designed exactly as per original specification. $78USD / pair.

Those guys probably have all their own fab and machinist capabilities. I’ve emailed them before asking if they could “help a brother out” but got crickets. I did end up casting some a couple years back that I can hopefully make work. They’re...

@scoobiedubes I had probably the same issues with body panels fabrication integrated in a body shop construction. The first projects went well, they were motivated and picky, but as I did several cars fase 2 and 3 over the years, they silently...

To what part of Tahoe did you move? There’s a couple Cruiserheads who do work in the area (I’m in Truckee).

@scoobiedubes - Congratulations on the move the the Lake Tahoe area. Hang in there on project Lara. We all go through the full spectrum of emotions, both high and low, on these long term projects. They are just flat out HARD!!!! Lara...

You should just park it for a while. Stop calling deadlines. There’s no rush. It’s a great project. Lots of good work has been done. Focus on your house and family first. Some day you’ll notice you have more time and then it’s a good time to get...

She is safe and sound and will speak to you again when the time is right. Too good a project to be down long. Good luck with the new house renovations. Both projects will benefit from a clear focus. Lots of details but that is the fun part. Enjoy...

yeah pretty much what I've decided, I was mostly stressing out of getting it out of that guy's shop for a while but now that its on my property I can kind of exhale. Eventually I'll find the right person to finish up the body, in the meantime...

Updating all the build threads I have - we moved up to Lake Tahoe last spring/summer and I knew I would never have the garage space up here for all of my cruisers so a few of them had to go. Sadly, Warden was one of the ones that I had to sell...

Quick update - haven't been on here in a bit after a big move over the summer. Another member contacted me and really wanted Ivory (the one with the new gray paint) so it's no longer with me. I don't have the garage space for all of my cruisers...

Oh boy... this project :notworthy: So we moved up to the Lake Tahoe area last May from Phoenix. We made the decision in Dec of 2022, so Feb 2023 I went to the body/fab guy's place and had a talk with him. Told him I had X $ left and wanted...

It will be the same motor and trans as an FJ25. Pretty tough to find but they do come around now and then. Keep your eyes out. Gotta see your 28 though, is it a wagon?
