Currently @ $16,100 and reserve not met.
Hope they get what they want for it. I don't imagine it didn't came cheap from TLC.

Currently looks like only a couple of stupid dudes having a pissing match back and forth--and with 7 days left to go.
Likely both will lose at the last minute when it gets sniped by a buyer with more money than either one of them is willing to spend ! Somewhere in the neighborhood around $140,000 up.

Personally, for +$75k, it, at least ought to have an SC'd 2-3 UZ, not a Vortec.
Guess I've been drinking too much of the kool-aid for too long, but at your estimate of $140k, I could have a bunch of Cruisers I'd personally appreciate a lot more.

I know... When I'm through with my FJ40, I'll put it up on Ebay, set the reserve at $100,000, get some friends to run the bids up then cancel the auction. That way I can get a bunch of folks to post about it around the internet to give it exposure. What a great idea! Too bad I didn't think of it...

Have to put it in perspective, is all I'm saying, man.
I doubt that this eBay offering was ever intended to increase forum banter, because most of Mud wouldn't pay the Icon price, anyway. Most of Mud complains about paying $78 for an OE part, opting for a $12 equivalent.
This was for a select few folks that probably know the ins and outs of Icon and all rub elbows with other of similar wealth, where $150k is nothing to pay for a vehicle that, personally, I wouldn't want.....but, in fairness, I'm prejudiced against LCs with SBCs.
$100k would afford many, many Cruisers that I could dump arse loads more money into restoring/maintaining for the balance of my life. That sounds like a dream to me, not a single Icon.
