Is your FJ40 one of four in the world?

No, it's the only one in the world. All Cruisers built one at a time by different people are unique. Some are just worth more than others obviously.

I'd pay $100k for a GT40 MkI but not any Land Cruiser.

No reason not to think they are north of $100k these days. Let alone the fact that there are FJ40's selling at auction houses at 50k or much more.

He sold a second hand one of these that he originally restored then resold 1-2yrs ago for ~$130k, so this one was at least worth that give or take without seeing it or knowing the specs.
