How can i get touch with FJ40Jim I've sent him several PMs and emails but have not had much luck. A phone number or something. My smog is dying and i need his idler pulley set up.

Jim

I sent you a PM... I've removed my air rail and I would like to get one of your idler pulleys (that repalaces the air / smog pump).

Thanks, Elbert

ok...thanks for the note..grant...

you guys have problem with some of the pics posted lateley? when I went to the link two of the pics are srewed up...

anyway on the bracket .... I would like to buy one from Jim..... but if I can't do that in a reasonable time frame I'm going to be forced to look at either something like the above or maybe setting up a 2nd alternator.

does the 3f bracket bolt in to existing holes (on a 2F engine) on the bottom side of the bracket? From the pic I could see it looks like you made some type of spacer on the top to line up with one of the bolts on the P/s pump? Hard to tell with what I could see.

On the 3f..... where does that adjuster bracket bolt to? the lower right hand side of the engine? And which belt does it work on?

thanks...

Do a search on recent threads. I saw a post where a Cruiserhead replaced his smog pump with a one wire GM alternator and ran two alts and batteries. Said GM part was a bolt in......

Jim C, I was hoping to get an idler pulley setup as well as send you my carb and dizzy for recurve, desmog and rebuild while they are out . I have sent a couple emails but no luck.

old post...but idler bracket from JimC worked well for the time I kept my I6 engine, certainly better than the air pump it replaced.

Thanks for writing.

I get a bunch of emails and simply can't respond to every one.
Please email again and put something catchy in the subject like "FJ60 on fire, please help!!!" :D
and I'll try to get back to you.

I loved the JimC idler instead of the air pump, it worked great.
But atlas, the 2F is pulled and the idler sits in the garage, very much idle, looking for a new home

Calling Jim C!

Hi Jim, hoping you catch this message - Its time to jump ship on my Weber 38 and go with the stock Aisun, hopefully with your expert re-build (and perhaps a review of desmog steps.:wrench:) Please let me know procedures to send in when you can,

Thanks!

Look in the vendor marketplace as he has a thread there with all the information needed. Can't go wrong, great service and great products.
