I installed power steering and I have everything running off one belt on my f engine. I installed a Toyota mini truck pump where the smog bracket goes and moved the alt. to where the 2f goes. I am only getting about 1.5"s of contact on my water pump. Works fine and I am not having any problems, but I would like to possibly run the alt and water pump on one belt and the steering pump on another. The mini pump does not have the ability to adjust and I would like to bolt up some type of tensioner for that pump. Any ideas?

someone has to have an idea . . . maybe a pulley entsioner off a 3f?

check a 95 J**p 4 cyl.

The pully is for a V-belt and other than being from a J**p, it works well.

Sorry no pics.

On my 74 I used a 60 pump and made a bracket to fit the alt mount on the driver side of the F engine. My pump lines up with the inner pulley and my alternator I moved to the passenger side with a 78 mount lines up with the outer pulley. The pump mount has an adjuster and I run 2 belts.

Does your harmonic balancer and water pump have 2 pullys?

Here is a pic of a idler.. Toyota # 16630-61020 used on 3F applications.. over the years I've made use of it on several different p/s scenarios.... it is used in this pic as a smog pump eliminator.....
