Here's a pic of my Cruiser right after I got it and the bumper I am currently building. Go easy on me with the color comments, the PO did it just before I got it.

congrats and i like the bumper.

what color you going to paint it =]

That is a really nice looking bumper.
As far as the color goes, you know you really love cruisers when you're not afraid to drive a purple one.
awesome rig, Judging by the split hood, is it a 1969?

Probably a bright yellow. I have pic of the bumper build but I have to do some resizing to post them. And its a 71.

Nice looking rig and nice looking bumper, very original. definatly has the cool factor going for it. Now just paint it hot pink to go with the cruiser.

Nice Rig and a unique bumper.:wrench:
The color.........

fits to that very cool lady.

I love the bumper. Do you mind if I borrow some of your styling cues when I build my bumper?

I had a '70 that the PO did the same thing too and painted it Barney purple. To bad it's extinct now.
The bumper looks great, good luck on your build.

nice smiley face bumper

Here's another of the bumper build. And one of the custom shift knob I made. Got a pipe bender and lost my welder so the bumper is currently on hold. Getting geared up for the 350 conversion and the paint job. Incase anybody is wondering, I did put a piece of square tubing through the top to give the bumper more support.

My wife has decided that she likes it purple, but won't mind if I paint it. The pulling points/mounts are made out of 4"X5/8" steel. I just used a drill press for the hole and an angle head grinder with a cutoff wheel. And lots of buffing with an 80 grit flapwheel. Any cruiser fan is welcome to use any part of the bumper design.

Nice looking bumper
