Yep

It's the two speed. Power in and out on both speeds and freespool. The high speed seems plenty fast. It may not really be that fast. I tweaked the flow on the pump, which should help the speed.

I really don't understand the speed issue. Whether you drink one or three beers while winching really doesn't matter to me. Come to think of it, a slow winch may be better after all.

Winch

Finally got my fairlead on the cruiser today. I cut out a piece of 1/4" plate for it to bolt to.

Still have to clean up the wiring. The box where the control plugs in can be moved away from the winch. I'm not sure where it will wind up.

I thought sometimes you only need a little " pull " from your winch .. and you need to roll in pretty fast, don't lose the vehicle momemtum

I have an electric/hydraulic Ramsey and its slow as Christmas but never kills my battery or bogs down. Its always super slow, with or without a load. It never bothers me since I usually only use it to pull Heeps up hills

Its nice too if your truck dies and you need the winch.

Were going to Morris Mountin again on New Years day too. We should have 4-6 guys with Longfielded :grinpimp: :grinpimp: 4runners and mini-trucks if you want to come.

Morris Mountain

I haven't posted here in awhile. I would like to go to Morris Mountain, but I am getting back on 12/31/06 from a deer hunt in Texas.

The cruiser is currently out of commission, I have to install new master/slave cylinder for the clutch. I bought them last friday, just have to get them fabbed up and bolted on. I went with one ton chevy stuff to simplify things for the future.

I'm also trying to purchase a farm, just have too much going on. But, I will get the cruiser going this week. I need to get to work.

Thanks for the invite.

This thing has a mean stance. I love 40s. So unassuming. Not like a mail carrier. The only RHD you might find me in would be a 70 or something.

Nice rig man! I'm jealous! Got any free time to sell?:beer:
