I am looking to put a 4" lift kit on my fj40. I am putting 33x10.50x15 tires on it. Any recommendation on name brands?

i put on a hells creek suspension and for the price it has been great. if u have the money i guess old man emu is awesome. i have heard though that rough country is a lil stiffer. also i was looking at downey but u have to piece together your lift where with hells creek u get everything u need.

Search feature is your friend. There are tons of treads on lift kits for the fj40. All brands have been discussed. Really depends on what you want out of a lift and what type of wheeling that you are going to be doing. search: ( fj40 lift kits ) and you will have more info than you will know what to do with. You will get better results ans answers if you do research first then ask so you will have more specific questions for the info. that you need. Good luck and welcome to mud.

do a search, there is a lot of info and opinions. i like the ome myself, run it for years and still love it. they say its only about 2.5 inches but if you run a longer shackle you get a little more height. i run 33 12.5 with 1.5 spacers. pretty decent flex :D

Call tom @ Hellcreek and he'll hook you up. Go ahead and go with the 4" or you will do it twice. You say that you will only run 33's but I said that too. Do the 4" and you can get 35's and be done with it. Just my .02.

Hell Creek gets very good reviews on this forum and the price seems to be right.

If you are indeed in Knoxville, TN , you are about 380 miles from Hell Creek. It is in New Albany, MS. That is just southeast out of Memphis. If you frequent Memphis, you may be able to save shipping.

Also, WELCOME :flipoff2:. Post up pictures of your truck.
