Hi all, I've done extensive search through the forums for a license plate/jerry can holder similar to whats offered from FJCOMPANY. All trails have a dead end. Has anyone successfully recreated this? It appears to be a smittybilt holder with a different strap. My main concern is the mounting point and its ability to hold a 5l jerry can on the trail. Thanks!

I started looking and found this... who knows if it will hold up on the trail... but the price is good!

The mount has worked great for me but there has been some minor rust developing in some spots. So, the paint job isn’t stellar from the gun. Also, I think this may go without saying, make sure you mount it to something that can handle the weight on the trail!
Did this one mount where your license plate frame was and then you just reattached your plate frame to the front of the jerry can holder? Love the look of your setup and trying to do the same for my rig.
How did you go about mounting this through your rear door/gate? Did you put reinforcement on the interior where this bolted through?
I have the same question! Any photos or description? I can handle the welding work. Looking for a way to build a small cooler mount myself
