Hey guys , I'm going through my project list and collecting parts. Previous owner backed into a pole and damaged the hardtop pretty significantly ( in my opinion).

I'm not sure if this thing is even worth saving. The rain gutter is in great shape other than the damage in the rear. It looks like the po had something mounted in the middle with four bolts as well but that's the least of my worries.

Do you think anyone can bring this back to life?

Yea check with a boat repair shop, they should be able to repair that no problem. They often repair fiberglass.

Repairable but everything had its cost. Try and find a boat shop or a body shop that does corvette stuff. Remember that you will need to use resin that doesn't
Melt the foam in between the fiberglass. Good luck and keep us posted on your outcome.

I realize it's with whatever you're comfortable with but 3M has some DIY fiberglass repair video's on Youtube. Obviously the guy is an experienced tech but with time and patience, the repair process didn't appear to difficult.

Thanks guys for the advice. I have a boat shop nearby and can stop in as it is their off season in Ohio. I will also check out the videos. One of the great members messaged me and offered a good condition top for free also but is across the country so I will look into shipping options. As always this is very helpful.

Can you measure the thickness of the fiberglas? Looks like mebbee 1/8"?

Thank you sir!
