Any thoughts on the OEM location late model 2F brackets for the Sag pump? I got some serious groaning coming out of my stock pump now that it's cold out!

Mark

still in limbo.....but, there is some good news. i now have a complete fj60 "mule" to test my next gen bracket.

hoping to have it done this week.

Timing is very good... put me down for 2!

Hey Georg, I finally got my power steering pump remounted and it only took me 3 1/2 months...lol. While waiting on new bolts to arrive in mid December I tore my shoulder up. I had rotator-cuff surgery in mid January to reattach two tendons back to the bone. I am now 7 weeks out of surgery and with the help of my son and my daughters boy friend (kinda hard to do 1 handed and needed help tightening bolts) we got her going. I did have to grind down the top part of the bracket to get it to clear the exhaust manifold and bend the adjusting bracket to work in a way that i liked it. Cant remember how to put pic's on here so hope it works:)

Thanks a bunch

glad you "finally" got it done. that's certainly different than i usually install them, but it just proves that there's not "one right way" to do anything....

why did you have to grind the bracket? i've never had to do that and have not heard from any of my customers about having to do so either?!

Georg
I had to grind the top right portion down because the exhaust manifold would not allow it to go down on the motor mount bolts. I mounted the adjusting arm on a bottom water house bolt instead of the water pump because the bolts are much easier to get to and adjust. Works like a champ
