Yes, it requires drilling holes.

Can you get a measurement on that center hole to center hole horizontally and vertically? Looks widely spaced

I held it up to the oem holes and the spacing is off. Sorry.

I have three receivers that will direct bolt to the fj40.

Conn-Ferr 2” reciever used $100 (zinc coated look)

4Plus 2” receiver and hardware, used. - $150

Unknown takeoff, used - $75. (This one is straight out, no drop)

All three will fit with a factory step as well.
