Yup, just not in our driveway yet.
Looking at a 10 to 12 mile tow to get it here.

That's just like next door. Has to be someone local with a car hauler.

THANK YOU for saving that rig!

I didn't even know this one needed saving. Was this listed foe sale somewhere? After the first person who bought and posted and sold it. I figured it was going to be sold again since the second owner isn't know for hanging on to his cruisers.

The one the needs saving is the one Paul (3puppies) found in Montana. That poor thing is sitting outside with no cover. Have you bought Paul or ready pass on the information?

got it a ride home, just gotta figure when it will all fall into place. when sheba decided to sell, she contacted me first, but i just couldn't do it at the time. the guy who was going to buy it dicked her over and never even went to look at it so after five months of listening to his bs, she contacted me again, i still couldn't do it. now just kinda worked out right.

so, need to go to home depot to see if i can use my xmas gift card to buy visa gift cards so i can buy car parts :D

Hope they weren't after part numbers, because it's the original print in the old system. :bang:

:eek:So after the $1,000 tool roll on ebay anyone want to sell me one back? At their cost?

The would be a shame if that's they were hoping for. We all know how many of these parts Toyota's still have in stock. my 63 version has both old and new. That comes in handy all the time. If I can ever get a 61 FJ40 parts book or microfiche I figure which parts off the FJ25 carried over to the first FJ40s.

On the tool kits just two years ago when I had a thread of the value:meh: of FJ40. When asked of the value would be more with all the goodies that came with it originally including the complete tool kit the answer was no.:meh:

Pretty soon the tool roll will be worth more than the truck.

I hope my room will have space for a tool box :D
...I just need to make sure the guy next to me isn't looking at my junk...

Reminds me of my college dorm room..........rebuilding a tecumseh on my desk. At least my room mate wasn't checking my parts.
