You're ****ing kidding me? Please tell me they don't put the starter there.
That's why every vehicle I have replaced in the last couple years has been OLDER than the one I'm replacing it with.
Just an FYI, I'm back to working on the wife's 1965 "40" ( no one took me up on the JF25 trade)
The wife has been back from Iraq since Dec. and made me "add some tone" to the exhaust on her Monte Carlo, that I got her for her return.
BUT, I still hear............ "When's my Landcruiser going to be done?"

I'm liking the fuel system on the left. :D I'm probably not far away, we've had one "dead key" incident in the '02. Also have to do something similar on father's Mitsubishi, O-Ring on the little pipe running under the manifold is leaking. :bang:

00 LC no dead key so far. 110K and counting. 04 4Runner (4X4 V8) 58K and still going strong. I do remember having a 83 760 GLE Volvo that the water pump was close to this. Large water hose came from behind the water pump in this same location.

We're in hot hi-humidity weather here already...+ 102 when you factor it all in. Way too hot for this time of year...could never live in Phoenix if this is what it is like most of the time.

If it's an early MC, let's see some pics! :D

My forty year old $50 Ebay tractor sheared off a deck spindle while mowing rocks this weekend. :frown: $43 for a new "arbor shaft".

So I applied everything I've learned about 25 parts hunting.................................................buy whole rigs for parts!!!!!!!!! :hillbilly:

For me that would be the case. But Jim will take the parts he needs and sell the rest and make a profit.

 As it so often goes.............the part I needed was included as a spare........so now I've got one working rig, one complete "restoration" Simplicity and one which will make a good trail rig with the spare motor I've got in the shed................

x2, Happy Fathers day :)

Pressure washing, demolding the house and deck! But at least I'm home with the family. Everybody enjoy yours!

Spent the day with my father yesterday rigging (attempting to) his sailboat, very fun day.

So I actually put two miles on my OD FJ25 today. The front tires (NDT's) felt like they were very out of round through the steering wheel and the wheel moved left to right 2 inches or so back and forth. It did go away once I got up to 25-30 mph. It drove straight though. Both front axle knuckles are leaking gear oil too. Time to rip it apart and see whats up with it. It was in 2WD but it has drive flanges so everything was still turning in the front axle. Been so long since I drove it, I dont remember if it was like this before or not. I've also replaced the spring bushings so now the axle doesn't have as much room to wiggle. Any thoughts on the steering wheel shimmy?

I missed the request by Cruiser Nerd on the MC photo It's a 1984 w/70 k. I trailer-ed it from PA to Ft Hood TX. It was in the parking lot when she got back from her third deployment.
Why does every one have the same toys (or relics) I have an old un- running Simplicity also.
Does any one else have a Caterpillar D9 cable lift Bulldozer?
