I cannot help with FJ25 but for those looking for colors of later bumpers, I just uploaded a bunch of paint chips in one of my albums. I took My 1977 FJ55 rear bumper apart and found some paint that had not seen light since Sept 1976. Paint code T1434 does not seem to exist anymore, I found T122 to be the closest choice. Most people use T145 but that appears to be a little too dark.

Some of them showed up in chrome as well. - interestingly both are very similar (RHD, Winkers, and same Indicator / Marker lights attached to front of fenders. I think both pictures are off same vehicle.

Archie,

The photo you captured is an example of some reproductions being done in the GCC to replicate the "look" of how Toyota shipped FJ40/45s into the Middle East in the 60s thru 80s. There are a few wealthy collectors there who demand this type of restoration. Hence the "correctness" is an approximation done by the restorers, beautifully and quite authentically, but not necessarily 100% "as shipped."

Chrome bumpers, chrome bezels, chrome weatherstrip accents, etc. were specific to the GCC market. It would be interesting to see an original
FJ25 as imported to the Middle East to see if any "extras" were being added by Japan back then. To this day, only the Middle East seems to get the wild side-striping and protruding hood ornaments embellished in gold on their Land Cruisers.

So, am I correct that '67 bumpers would still be the pewter/silver? I've seen a '67 resto that was painted (pix at bottom), and it's hard to tell, but I think my original bumpertte might have had body color. Center top of this picture has what I think is the original horizon blue under the second paint job of capri blue, though that could be silver. Can't believe I didn't save that thing just for wall art! Yes my friend the PO had a couple of incidents- but he swore they weren't his fault! I just ordered a dual master cylinder to be safe.
