I have been happy with mine so far and like said above it's not proven to stick out so far as to be a issue with getting caught up or stuck on an obstacle.

Reviving this as it was the best source of Trail Gear bumper info for me when I was searching. I ordered the front bumper with stinger from Exit off road on Monday. Bumper was at my door by Friday (helps I'm only a couple hours from Trail Gear).

The bumper seems well worth the money. Welds aren't amazing, but they will certainly get the job done. It required about an hour with the flap disk, getting the edges to where I didn't feel like they would shred my hands or winch rope, knocking down some spatter, etc. Prep took about 10 times longer than actually painting the bumper. Rustoleum self etching primer then truck bed coating and it was ready to go on. Could have done it all in one day if it wasn't for the highs of 60 degrees.

Badlands Apex 12k fits just fine. Surprisingly the fairlead holes needed to be enlarged from 3/8 to 1/2. Not sure why the Badlands fairlead bolts are so big. Wish it extended to the second stock tow point bolt so I could still use it, though I don't know if I need it with the front receiver.

I've had mine since they came out and it's been great for the money.

Sticks out but makes the perfect platform for standing on to work on things in the engine
