Hello lads,

I have a very large number of good quality 2'4" tall moving boxes which anyone is welcome to if they could use some thick storage boxes. They are in great shape for the most part and I have flattened them all back down so they do not take up a huge amount of space.

I have about 40 ready to go to a new home. PM to arrange pick up here in Santa Fe.

My new name

G'day HDC folk,

Now that I am no longer an HJ47 owner, I will be slowly converting over to my new mud identity - 'Chamba', seen here.

Of course, David (2manycruisers) pointed out that names are relative. I take his point, given he now has only two Cruisers and has yet to change his Mud name to 2fewcruisers, but I feel that HJ47 is too specific to be kept by someone without an HJ47.

Of course, I may get another one one day, but by then Chamba should apply equally to all makes/models of Cruiser which I hope to own:D

Well I haven't owned an FJ60 in 3 years but that hasn't stopped me from keeping my name.

A fair point. I'm just worried about being branded a troopy-owner wanna-be:D

Marc, YOU don't even own a Cruiser now, but Danise does own a Hundy! :flipoff2:

My name is on the title of a '99 UZJ100 and a '71 FJ40. Just because I'm not allowed to drive one of them and the other is a pile of parts is immaterial.

If it weren't for that *eep in your sig, you'd have no problem. ;)

See if Woody can change yours to "Lexie" or something.

Heck, I've only driven my HJ-45 while towing it behind a Power Wagon, so....

If Toyota made a diesel for this bloody country then I would not have had to resort to the J**p for Emma; it is the only diesel SUV one can get here (I don't count the Tourag as an SUV, sorry... it barely counts as a car).

Having said that, now that we own it, I really do love that car! It has more power than my my troopy did with a Vortec 350 and I can get mid 30s on the highway. It can tow 5,000 lbs, cruises comfortably at 85 MPH and is as quiet as a petrol version. If J**p still made this car new, I'd get another. Of course, putting the J**P in my name is likely to get me tossed off the list.:hhmm:

Whilst you have only driven your HJ45 when it was being towed, it does look pretty damned cool sitting in front of the shop, so I reckon you can be forgiven for keeping it in your name.

Chamba is a Peruvian slang expression for the art of doing nothing whilst looking like one is very busy doing something. It is a fantastic name for a slack lawyer like myself:D

Oh, and the boxes are all gone.

Of course, starting over with zero posts means I have all of these annoying advertisements all over the treads....:bang:

According to Wikipidia - Chamba is a popular strain of marijuana known as Malawi Gold, grown in Malawi. No lie, check it out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chamba

Isabelle thinks your name should be Dorkolfritz. I concur.

Dorkolfritz. I like it. I'm sure it must be taken though - too good not to be. Tell her that was worth the 30 cents.

Perhaps yours can become 'Big Mini' in honour of 80:grinpimp:
