I would be willing to try and put together a group buy for OKledlightbars.com. He is local to me here in Oklahoma City. I've seen his set up, he is legit. He also has the ability to fix his lights in house if by some freak chance something goes awry. I will call him tomorrow and make sure. I'm running a lot of his lights on my truggy and they are top notch.

As stated earlier, I don't like posting in others LED GB threads that aren't mine. However this thread has gone from a vendor delivering a product to over 100 people trying to recover there investment. If the participants of this GB would like, I would be more than happy to help them get the lights. For those who are having custom projects being made, as well as going to events in the next week or two, I can do my best to get lights to you. The way I see it...it's not my money, and I know this sounds strange...when I get an order, I am almost scared of it. I want to get your product to you and the transaction over with as soon as possible (however continuing support you, and communicate with you given any issues arise). The GB that I was running these past 3 weeks just ended (57 minutes ago). Assuming everybody recovers there money (I really hope all of you do) I will be more than happy to run another GB for you guys. Remember, I only cater to the MUD community, I started here, and I will continue here. MUD is my family, I take too much pride in my Toyota to bail on you guys and flee the scene. If I pulled something like this, how would I ever come to GMSTR or any of the TLCA rides? :) :frown: :o

I hate plugging my own business on another business's thread. Troy may of encountered some serious issues, however that is no excuse for not updating any of the forums that he catered to. He has been logged on multiple times during the past few weeks. He knows there is a issue, and the people know it. If you have an issue inform, it doesn't matter if you are out of the country. I shipped over 300 light bars on a 6,500+ mile cross country trip during a blizzard while moving my brothers house and two cars and had piss poor service. Not once was in the same place, not once did I sleep, and not once did I stop posting updates, or posting any information on delays. I would sit on my phone while driving a 18,000lb Ford waiting for a bar of service to hit "Post". Those cliffs in Western Virginia did not look friendly either :lol:.

I'm not sure of Troy's situation, it's all speculation at this point as to what he is up to. I really do hope it's not a horrific accident. I wish him all the best, and I hope this is all a huge misunderstanding, and out of his control (supplier, shipper, customs, etc). I'm not one to talk trash, I always wait for the other side to admit fault, or claim incident. I truly hope he is well, as well as his family.

I can't ignore the demand and look the other way. If he won't provide, I will. It's that simple.

Seriously Guys...he has no intention of filling orders....why subject yourself to the aggravation of dealing with someone who has treated you badly??..for what..continued aggravation..more lies ??

When a business is removing negative comments/feedback they have something to hide...plain and simple.

I received a shipment notification for my lights a few hours ago, and it now shows dropped off at a UPS Store in Florida and in route to my house. Certainly better late than never.

While communication couldn't have been much worse, I personally don't think Troy had bad intentions throughout any of this. Troy obviously bit off more than he could chew with this Group Buy, and the TrekLights brand is off to a rough start, but I hope he can turn it around after learning the limitations, challenges, and requirements of the business. I'd say there's a good chance TrekLights will get things right in the future; nobody, and especially not Troy, will want to repeat this experience.

I'm frustrated with the delays and lack of communication like the rest, but apology accepted. We all learn from our mistakes, and we all could use a second chance every now and then. I wish you and your new business the best, Troy.

Just my 2 cents to add to the pile. Looking forward to getting my lights.
 
Well I just got another tracking number and this one is for 4lbs so that will probably be the rest of my lights. We'll see. ;) Hoping for the best!

no tracking #

I have not gotten any tracking # from troy, email sent, so I'm sure that will fix it right up
 
No tracking number for me. I am filing a complaint with the police for fraud tomorrow and let them handle this crap.
 
Can we have an accurate show of hands of people who were PROMISED tracking numbers this evening by 8 PM?
 
Mine has been dropped at ups store and headed to my house.....we shall see...it is looking better....
 
Mine were dropped off at UPS, but without a proper invoice, which is needed for international shipping. Emailed Troy, got a response. Still have hope that things will turn out ok. This group buy has been handled in a dismal manner, but i think it was a product of ignorance and inexperience. Hopefully Troy learns from it and history doesn't repeat.
 
Reloaded the page tonight and saw that it has been dropped off at the UPS hub, i should be able to track it once it gets in the system and is moving across the states towards me.
 
Both mine say they're dropped off and in transit.

Troy..what is the fxxxing cut off of money, where you'll actually update or talk to a customer?...is it $500 ?..$600 ?...$700 ?.....inquiring minds want to know?

Here's to hoping this is the end of the BS from Troy, I'm still waiting on a refund, but I'm not pressuring him any more for that (It's been over a month since I was told "I just need to transfer money to paypal :rolleyes:") until you guys get your orders. But I must say, the lights I ordered are pretty damn nice, even compared to the Rigid Dually's which were 3x the cost.
